Expat Insurance List

Expatriate or Expat Health and Medical insurance police can vary greatly in scope and therefore price.

Buyers should consider using a broker as going direct to a provider may not actually be more cost effective since broker comissions are paid by the provider out of their standard policy prices generally.

Buyers should pay particular attention to the terms of the policy for their expat health insurance since these can vary and may include/exclude clauses that are key to the buyer. For example will the policy be carried on into "old age"? Some providers have age limits.

Most health insurance companies and providers will price their product according to the region the policy holder intends to spend most of their time and again policy holders should check carefully to ensure they are covered in all the regions they wish to travel to.

Regions are generally:

North America, Europe and the Rest of The World with some specialist policies existing for specific regions like Middle East, Africa and Indonesia.
